Rosalyn Gonzalez has been busy checking with our teachers to obtain information on items needed by our teachers. Rosalyn is our Wish List Coordinator and she needs your help. Karen Cowden has been busy trying to find a director and volunteers to work on our Spring Play. Karen is our Spring Play Coordinator and she needs your help. If you can help contact Karen at: KarenCowden@verizon.net

Gwendolyn Orange has been busy trying to provide coverage for the school’s hospitality needs. Volunteers are needed to provide and serve refreshments for our Science Fair judges on December 4th and 6th ; at the Science Fair Awards program, and at
our December 18th General PTA meeting at 5:30 p.m. If you want to help with the refreshments at these events, please contact Gwen at: GwenOrange@aol.com

Candy Miles-Crocker has been busy trying to find a venue for our Spring Gala and items to be auctioned at the Gala. Volunteers are needed to help solicit donations for the auction. This is our biggest fundraiser and many parent volunteers are needed. If you

Michael Coscia has been busy getting the word out to the community about our summer 2008 return to our permanent location at the 1819 – 35th Street, N.W. If you can help with community relations, contact Michael at: macoscia@earthlink.net

Rhonda Davis Smith is planning activities for our teacher appreciation week in May. Many parents have volunteered to assist in this week long activity, but more are needed. If you can help with the planning, serving, purchasing of items, decorations, public relations, or the coordination of this important activity to thank our teachers, administrators, and support staff, contact Rhonda: Championco@aol.com

Charlotte Brookins-Hudson has been busy asking more parents to participate in the Annual 180 Fund and getting community and public official support for the renaming of the school. Everyone can help by giving $180, or whatever you can to the fund which provides teacher and school support.
